"QDG’s dedication to the community and passion for sustainable design are two driving forces that motivate us to strive for the best possible design solution for each building we design." |
Lisa TabuchiAssociate Lisa Tabuchi is a believer in the notion that architecture can be a tool of empowerment and wonder and seeks to affirm this on every project. She is an Associate and Project Manager at QUATRO Design Group and brings almost 20 years of experience to the team, with an emphasis on project management for institutional projects. Her background is varied, with experience that includes housing design, tenure with a design/build contractor, and serving as a design and construction manager working on large and complex projects for high-tech companies. Tabuchi has a special interest in creating increasingly sustainable buildings that help achieve a better environment, and believes that this is a responsibility that all design professionals should not only embrace, but be active in increasing awareness. Her commitment on these issues is demonstrated by her active participation in the QDG Sustainability Workgroup and coordination of sustainability efforts on several projects within the office. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, California with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and has also completed some graduate studies at UCLA. Her professional commitment to bettering the community is complimented by her long-term involvement as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, building and restoring homes for low-income families in the Los Angeles area.
