His work is infused with many powerful ideas and the belief that design concepts must encompass everything from grand scale to the finest detail. Over the course of his career, Ray has been involved with numerous residential, commercial and governmental projects. This is most apparent during the later phases of documentation, where his meticulous attention to detail and ability to lead interdisciplinary coordination efforts – on even the most complex projects – shine. Ray has a comprehensive knowledge of CAD techniques and standards and is an expert on code issues, particularly DSA, having successfully guided dozens of projects through the process. Ray received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California in 1965 and is a licensed architect in California.
