Lorena Terrace Housing Project

Built on a 1.3 acre hillside lot with very difficult parameters, Lorena Terrace – a new multi-family housing complex, was designed with its constraints in mind and used as an asset. Given the severity of the site, the context of the area and the client’s desire, the aesthetic became a fusion of an Italian hillside villa and the Southern Californian mission style. With an on-site community center, computer lab and childcare facility for 24 children, also available to the surrounding community, it is designed to help create a sense of community between the life-time residents of the neighborhood and the new residents of Lorena Terrace.
